I would like to introduce a piece in one of the website about Sensoji Temple.

A huge wooden plaque with a picture of tiger, the Chinese zodiac sign for 2010, is displayed at the Asakusa Nakamise commercial avenue in Tokyo's Taito Ward on Friday, Dec. 15. Over 2 million people are expected to visit the Senso-ji Temple here during the first three days of the New Year. (Mainichi)

As a result my score was 10 points out of 15.
This site's good point is that the dictation speed is very slowly.
And I'm interested in this site because the study materials are the international news.
I think this site is good for me to improve my listening score.

It was so interesting!
I could play some kind of game, but the qualifying age is junior high school students.

It took over 10 minutes...

I was so nervous that I could'nt explain it.

I felt that 10 minutes is too short unexpectedly!

The Seventh Week

Our group is modifying The Evaluate Check List from this week.
Adjusting point is as follows.....
・Object person is vague standard.
・We should make the frame appear underlined.
・We should make "total point" on the top of the list.

Recently, I'm checking "The Mainichi Daily News" site.
This site is newspaper company's website.
We can read the latest articles in English, but it doesn't have the vocabulary list.

Thinking of Presentation

I'm trying some websites about English reading for the presentation.

I'll focus on three sites, and continue to use them for about one week.

And the evaluate checklist deadline is looming.

I'm also thinking of its contents.

Today, I found the disturbing news about Obama, president of USA.

His approval rating is declining.

Meanwhile, he's going to visit Japan this week.

The Sixth Week

Today was the sixth class.
For the presentation, Our group checked the evaluation list and shared many websites.
We desided to master websites about English Reading by Friday.
And I'll send the progress status to the members of the group by e-mail.
In today's class, I learned how to use "skype" and "facebook".
I have some friends who are studying abroad in Canada.
I'd like to communicate by skype!!

Here's a global attention news.
It's twenty years ago today, the Berlin Wall collapsed.
I was born in July of that year.
Fall of Berlin Wall was a historic big event.

The Fifth Week

Today was the fifth class.
I found some websites about English Reading.
Now I'm making a check list to evaluate them.
I'm thinking of list of items.
For example, wheather or not the website page is amount of information.
I'll think of more contents by next week.

Presentation

I'll make a presentation about Reading in November 30th.
I've been searching for its websites.
But I cannot easily find the good sites.....
I think stick with it for a while longer.

Election

It's getting colder every day...

Today The House of Councilors election was held.
I went and voted after I finish part-time job.
It was second my vote.

International Team Club

I became a new accountant of International Team Club.

I'm in the process of taking over.

Our advisor is Dr.Kaya.

I'll do my best.

We'll hold Hallween Party in Novemver 5th.

YAWARAGI Festival has finished!!
We sold all kind of foods.
I'm very tired, but I had a wonderful time!
And today, the third-year seniors retired this club....

Today I prepared for the college festival of tomorrow.

The Third Week

Today was the third class.
Dr.Kaya taught us many websites about learning English.
Especially, I thought that "EIJIRO" is so useful for me!!
I'd like to make effective use of it.

My English Lerning

1. English Learning in the past

I started studying English when I was in the sixth grade in elementary school.
I learned the alphabet and the short sentences.
Later I read the text book many times.
Finally, I was so happy because I get a perfect score on the test for the first time.
I thought that I have to study English harder.
When I was in the third year in high school, I desperately memorized vocabulary for the entrance examination.
And I could solve the English long passages.
I learnd to read, listen and speak last year.
I listened to the American news programs, and I wrote down the dialogues from TV.
I think that my listening skill developed a little bit.


2. My English skills

I stayed with a family in America three years ago.
And next year I hosted a girl student in Japan.
I had a wonderful time.
But I couldn't communicate with her well.
So I wanted to study speaking and listening skills more.


3. My goals in 3-4 months

I have two goals in 3-4 months through this class.
One is that I want to get the 600 mark for TOEIC test.
I have taken TOEIC test about five times.
My score was all the 500 mark.
The other is that I'd like to improve my writing and English grammar.
